John can be called a serial entrepreneur. Previous lives include ownership and management of a very popular restaurant and a really great sporting goods store. As a frequent shopper at Logan Hardware, John got to know the managers and the staff and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the location so much that it lead to him spending some time helping us open Tenleytown Ace Hardware.
One day he said “Hey Gina, I want to move to Baltimore and you once wanted to open a store there” – the rest was history!
To train for his new life, he took on greater responsibilities at Glover Park Hardware. Not one to cringe at a challenge, John moved to the trendy Federal Hill neighborhood, quickly memorized volumes of Baltimore history, and opened our first outpost in a new city – all in about a three month time span!
Located on Light St. in the historic Baltimore neighborhood of Federal Hill, Federal Hill Ace Hardware has 7,000 square feet of retail space and it’s own parking lot.
