Store Manager: Jahmala “Jahmal” Scott
Like many of our managers, Jahmal started at 5th Street Ace as a sales associate in 2010. A year later, he became the store’s first assistant manager. And a year after that, manager. He continues to enjoy helping customers with their everyday household issues so they can get on with their lives -- just like the Ace motto.
As a former electrical engineer with the Department of Defense, it’s no surprise that Jahmal’s favorite department is light bulbs. “I love all the different sizes and shapes. And I didn't realize how many light bulbs a household goes through.” If you come back often enough, he’ll probably remember exactly which ones you need for your house!
