Woodley Park ACE hardware

Ed Simms, Manager

General Manager: Ed Simms

Like most of our managers, Ed started with the company in Spring 2009 as an associate at our 5th St. location. Shortly after, his dedication to the company and excellent customer service lead to his promotion to inventory coordinator and associate lead. When Woodley Park Ace opened in 2012, Ed was promoted to assistant manager, a position he held until promoted in 2014 to store manager. He loves helping customers complete their tasks without having to call a professional, but he especially enjoys seeing the customer's satisfaction because they were able to solve a problem on their own. Aside from the store, Ed loves Woodley Park for it's thriving community and rich history.

A Maryland native, Ed enjoys fishing and nature photography in his spare time. We are so excited to have Ed on our team and look forward to watching him grow with the store in the years to come!
